Ellie is an emerging Australian/Irish visual artist working and living on Boonwurrung/Woiwurrung country (melbourne, Australia). 

Her work mostly consists of ceramic wheel-thrown work, with some hand-built ceramics and wax elements. Ellie has been working with ceramics since she was 16 years old. 

In 2024, Ellie exhibited her ‘Mortal Business’ work in the Monash University graduate exhibition ‘MADA Now.’ 

Her work, ‘Mortal Business,’ won the non-aquisitive ‘Edith Rose Memorial Award.’ In 2026, this work was a finalist in the ‘Shelley Simpson Ceramics Prize’ at CRAFT in colaberation with the brand MUD Australia. 

In 2026, Ellie completed a double degree of a Bachelor of arts, majoring in gender studies. As well as a Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in Visual art from Monash University.

Ellie’s recent work has engaged with the representation of death in contemporary cultures and seeks to spark conversations around our cultural discomfort with death and bodies.
